No problem!\n\neach session will be recorded and sent to those who have registered!\n\n \nPricing is by donation- choose what you are comfortable with!\nPurchase a copy of the book HERE ( https://amzn.to/4yzfcsq ): https://amzn.to/4yzfcsq\n \nWhat Are We Doing, and Why Should You Attend?\nWe are reading Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself by Dr. Joe Dispenza.\nI’ll admit, the title threw me off at first. Why in the world would I want to stop being myself when I’ve spent my whole life trying to become more myself—more of who I truly am, and less of who I became through fear, insecurity, conditioning, and all the experiences that have shaped me?\nAfter attending one of Dr. Joe Dispenza’s retreats, I finally read the book, and it completely shifted my perspective. The book explores how we can overcome the thoughts and emotions we often become addicted to—feelings like guilt, shame, anger, irritability, judgment, and so much more. It teaches how we can move beyond our body, our environment, and even our perception of time to become the person we truly want to be—the person we truly are.\nThe book is divided into three sections across two parts. The first part is more theoretical, laying the foundation for the concepts presented. The second part becomes experiential. As we move through the book together, we will eventually begin practicing the meditations Dr. Joe introduces, allowing us to experience the work firsthand.\nThere is no need to read the book before we begin. We will read it together during our sessions, and anyone who has a copy is welcome to read aloud if they feel comfortable. There is absolutely no pressure to do so.\nI do encourage you to purchase your own copy ( https://amzn.to/4yzfcsq ) and follow along. There is something meaningful about having the book in your hands, even though we will be meeting online. I also encourage you to arrive on time, participate, read if you feel called to, listen deeply, and use physical tools like underlining or highlighting the words, phrases, and passages that resonate with you.\nMy invitation is simply this: participate. It is through your engagement that you’ll receive the greatest benefit from this experience.\nI first read this book in this very way with a friend, and that experience is one of the reasons I’m here today, offering this book club. If you choose to join us, my hope is that this becomes more than just reading a book—that it becomes an experience that truly makes a difference in your life.\nTo your best health,\n Carp Ridge EcoWellness Team\n
