Opportunities

Carp Ridge Learning Centre accepting board member applications

Be the difference in someone’s life.  Join our team today!

Take up the challenge. We guarantee the rewards will be great. Connect people of all ages. Explore nature, sustainability and healing. Share. Learn. Teach.

Inspire and be inspired.

If you have an interest in or background with holistic health, education, spirituality, environmental issues or sustainability then we invite you to submit an application to work with us.

The Learning Centre’s Board of Directors functions as a governance body and a working board. We meet monthly on a Wednesday 4-6pm followed by a delicious dinner and conversation. We are looking for passionate people who resonate with the mandate of the charity and can contribute actively to its on-going development. Board members contribute about 5 hours per month of volunteer time.

While specific experience is not required, among the skills and background which would be an asset are:

  • strategic planning
  • education background
  • staff management
  • organizational development
  • policy development
