Do you suffer from regular or intermittent headaches? Each person has a unique set of triggers and symptoms associated with their headaches.
What is common to 70-90% of adult headaches is the relation to tension in the body leading to the headache. No matter the underlying cause of your headache, stress and tension in the body will contribute to the pain and discomfort.
Join me to develop a method of coping with headaches that is unique to your own situation. In this 2 hour workshop we will cover techniques designed to reduce muscle tension and increase circulation and oxygen delivery to the brain. We will explore methods of physical and mental relaxation including Yin Yoga, Gentle Hatha Yoga, breath exercise, meditation and self massage.
You will leave this workshop with a “toolkit” of relaxation techniques that you can use to aid in the management of your headache no matter the setting you find yourself at the onset.
