Naturopathic medicine offers you the option of treating and preventing disease according to your unique constitution and life circumstances with therapies that support your body’s inherent ability to heal.

The practitioners at Carp Ridge EcoWellness Centre are dedicated to finding solutions to your health issues and working collaboratively with your current health practitioners.

If for some reason, you are not an appropriate fit for us, we will do our best to refer you to a practitioner who is!

What to Expect from a Naturopathic Assessment

Typically, a naturopathic assessment includes the following:

  • First visit with Dr. Katherine Willow N.D ($199) including a physical exam (seniors, children and youth: $175/visit)
  • Metabolic Screening Test (MST’s)   ($20 + HS)
  • Hair Mineral Analysis ($115 + tax)
  • Blood typing (if you don’t know your blood type)  ($20 + tax)

Approx. cost for your first visit: $373 plus supplements if needed.

After first visit, you will be given a plan with some homework such as writing up a diet diary, taking daily temperatures, sending us recent lab work and possibly a referral for more information.

  • Follow-up visit ($199) to discuss hair analysis, go over lab results, create a diet plan and test for supplements.

Practitioners

Dr. Katherine Willow ND.

Dr. Katherine Willow ND. has been practicing since 1983 as a fourth-generation naturopathic doctor via her family in Europe. Her specialty is the integration of German New Medicine (GNM) into her practice. In this new paradigm, one can connect biological shocks with conditions and determine whether a person’s symptoms are in the stress or healing phase of the shock.

Another favourite of Dr. Willow’s is old-style naturopathic medicine, which approaches disease with the simplicity of nature cure therapies: sun, air, water, earth and plants. There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing complicated cases resolve as a person’s body and mind receive what they need to heal.

Dr. Willow ND enjoys helping people with:

  • Aging well and prevention of disease
  • Allergies
  • Cancer
  • Children’s conditions, especially ADHD
  • Fatigue
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Inflammatory conditions
  • Lyme disease
  • Weight loss or gain and detoxification
  • Women’s health

Dr. Willow graduated from National College (now University) of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon, in 1983 and is registered with the Canadian College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO).
