Virtual Sessions by Kristine Karpinski

What will a Virtual Session look like?

Well, that’s a great question. We’ll start by checking in, to see what’s going on. We’ll assess what patterns are showing up and come up with strategies and activities that could help. If appropriate, we’ll work with breath sequences, movement instruction, self-massage instruction, and other techniques that could be helpful to you at this time. Additionally, I can offer distance energy healing and somatic coaching within the session or as separate offerings on their own (for those with an interest in this).

Self-Care Session (60 minutes)

This is a virtual check-in, to support your past and future hands-on massage therapy sessions.  We’ll chat about what patterns are showing up, and come up with strategies and activities that can help you at this time, including breath sequences, movement instruction, self-massage instruction, and other self-care techniques.  Additionally, I can compliment the session with distance energy healing and somatic coaching, or these can be separate sessions.

Energy Healing  (60 minutes)

Energy knows no bounds – intention and vibration can go the distance.  I utilize a variety of energy healing techniques in my practice.  Reiki, Metamorphic Technique, Chakra Balancing, Sound Healing, Shamanic Healing, Biodynamic Techniques, Continuum and others are all beneficial and possible from a distance.  You don’t have to choose one, we’ll connect virtually to check-in and understand the need for the moment.

Somatic Coaching (60 minutes)

Our body sends us messages by giving us physical sensations.  These sensations are clues as to how we’re holding tension, stress, patterns and past & present experiences in our body. Somatic awareness helps build resilience and adaptability, and can be beneficial in helping release these tendencies of holding.  We’ll connect virtually to chat and move through various activities that help bring awareness to the messages your body is sending.

Kris has been in full-time private practice and teaching for over 30 years.   In that time, she has collectively trained in and taught various healing modalities, body centred therapies and movement methods.  In her youth, she suffered multiple chemical sensitivities, which prompted an exploration into alternative health approaches.  She found her way through, studying dance, drama and music and went on to study psychology and theatre in university.  She has since merged these interests to develop a great passion for somatic, holistic and expressive approaches to well being.  She holds master-level certifications in many methods of Bodywork, Yoga, Conscious Dance, Somatic Movement, Energy Healing, Doula Care, Natural Health, Sound Healing, Nature Therapies and Wisdom Traditions.  She is a life-long, avid learner with a curious and joyful spirit!
