You are invited to explore firsthand the transformational space that stillness and presence can bring. Through stillness and presence, we can create more space to explore ourselves and to look at what exists beneath our changing thoughts and emotions. This allows us to connect more deeply to who we are at the core.

Diving deeper with you!

 

One-on-one sessions welcome a deeper dive into you! Is there something you would like to explore together? This could be absolutely anything such as:

– deepening your practice and understanding of mindfulness
– being at ease with difficult emotions such as stress, anxiety, and fear
– welcoming change into your life
– discovering and exploring who you are in the deepest sense

Please note that the end goal of our sessions is not to “fix” or get rid of your “issues”. Instead, I will invite you to examine the relationship you have with your thoughts, feelings, and overall life and to offer presence and acceptance to the areas that would most benefit. This might look like: if you experience difficult emotions, we can focus on body sensations. If you experience difficult thoughts, we can look at thoughts. You may notice the tendency to want to resist or distract yourself when doing this. If so, I will invite you to simply sit with it as openly as possible. Let’s notice what happens when you open up to these uncomfortable moments. When you are not in a state of resistance or distraction, what remains?

After practicing, you may notice that the thoughts, feelings or life situations remain the same, however, your relationship to them may be more peaceful and at ease. So whether or not they exist will make no difference as you can generate a sense of stability in all situations. This is our goal.

PAYMENTS
A first-time session is one hour and follow-up sessions are 45 minutes. In person or virtual. Sliding scale $25-60. Once you have made a booking below, please send an e-transfer payment to ruthie85@msn.com to confirm your session. If cost may be an issue, please inquire about scholarships before booking.
