Who doesn’t love the feeling of anticipation for a day of adventure? That moment when, in the midst of the busyness of everything, you can take some much-needed time for fun.

Sometimes it’s the details that make all the difference.

Allow the fresh forest air to energize you, the sound of song and drum, the scent of hot chocolate. Give yourself the chance to uncover truly skilled, local, creators of magic and whimsy. Bring the family to a seasonal artisan market!

As the Spooky Season draws near, we’ll have Halloween mask making, costumes and treats.  Everyone can make magic, as both young and “not quite so young” can be engaged in crafts brought forward from ancestral times.

You may want to simply take home the inspiration of the day, with over 20 artisans selling their hand-made wares, get some insight from a card reader or take a forest walk (1pm start time). And maybe you’ll be inspired by hearing the story of that perfect bowl or necklace or painting as told by the artist themselves.

This is what makes the artisan markets put on by Ninth Wave Arts so different. As an educational not for profit, showcasing simple ways to connect to nature and each other is part of what we’re passionate about.

You can feel good about supporting local artisans, making environmentally conscious choices and enjoy the sheer decadence of finding the perfect gift. Maybe these glorious treasures elevate your gift giving repertoire or maybe they are destined to find their way home. That’s up to you.
