Seeking fresh holiday memories that bring a smile to your face?  Why not immerse yourself in a world of magic and wonder brought alive by the beauty of nature? Allow hot spiced cider to warm your fingers while your cheeks are flushed by the awe of twinkle lights set in a winter forest.

Local artisans have been specially curated to combine the best of local skill and artistry to present treasures and practices that you can feel good about supporting. We’ll have twinkle lights aglow, old-style candle making, as well as beautiful handmade treasures for sale.

Almost every culture celebrates the return of the light in the darkest of days. Candles are one way to honour this. Whether candles bring to mind the carefree celebration of a birthday cake, the ceremonial magic of the sacred or a cozy, scented oasis with blanket and book, there is much to be received from the ancient art of burning wick and wax. In this spirit, we’ll be offering a simple dipped wax candle craft as a joyful reflection of all the season brings.

To set the stage of this magical wonderland, the forest will be glimmering with twinkle lights into the twilight hours. The fireflies of summer will be remembered in the shimmering brightness of Winter’s dark as we celebrate the diversity of seasons against the beauty of Carp Ridge.  Once the vendors depart, the talented Megan Jerome will lead us in a festive and seasonal bonfire choir sing-along.  Bring your chair and mittens to cuddle up by the fire.
