Introducing Amber Young, RMT, to clinic staff
The Carp Ridge Natural Health Clinic is thrilled to introduce the newest member of its healthcare team. Registered Massage Therapist Amber Young understands the deep impact and importance that touch has in healing.
She takes a holistic approach to health by combining the science and art of massage with the body’s natural ability to heal itself. Amber is passionate about working with her patient’s on their path to wellness, looking beyond the individual’s presenting complaint to consider them as a whole –- respecting their physical, mental, emotional and energetic state.
“I believe the most important aspect of treatment in a clinical setting is to integrate all aspects of the individual -– offering not only physical relief, but also emotional relief. I follow a holistic model of care,” says Amber. “A person is not just their pain -– they are so much more — and as a therapist I consider it my responsibility to look beyond the pain and create a space for healing to happen on all levels.”
Amber is booking patients on Mondays and Tuesdays at the CRNHC beginning in March.
(Watch for a full profile of Amber in the February newsletter. She and her family are also looking for a house rental in Almonte — see more below.)
