Winter wellness: January News Briefs & Upcoming Events at CREWC
Avoiding the Winter Blues:
It can be a long snow season in North America — sometimes you need help in keeping your energy and attitude fired-up when temps dip well below the zero mark. The Natural Health Clinic carries several products that help with depression or seasonal depression (SAD) and keeping your body strong through the winter season.
- Light therapy lamps ~ we carry two versions; one is the Litebook from The Litebook Co. in Medicine Hat, Alberta. The other is the goLITE BLU energy light from Philips.
- We offer a variety of supplements and remedies ~ Vitamin D & B complex, St. John’s Wort, folic acid, constitutional homeopathy and several other treatments for staying above the snowdrifts. See Katherine Willow’s blog post.
- Try our Healthy Eating & Activity program or several other therapeutic treatments offered by clinic practitioners. Click here to visit our clinic website.

Katherine Willow will be presenting an online ‘webinar’, Natural Solutions to PMS, Mon, Jan 18th, 7-8:30pm EST (NOTE: a webinar is a meeting held over the internet — participants log-on to a website to see and hear a live presentation. You need to have audio capability on your computer or a phone line connection — see more about that in Katherine’s post about her webinar by clicking here). The internet-based seminar will clearly explain the symptoms known as PMS, why they can show up, and how to resolve them using lifestyle changes, nutritional supplements, herbs and holistic therapies.
