Notes: CREWC staff & events, new diagnostic device at the clinic, new website, gadzukes! a great garden!

Some of what’s happening at  CREWC over the summer:

Kaia Nightingale is spearheading a renewal in community at the centre. She is creating a membership structure and an application process for people who would like to become more involved in our development. Anyone who is interested in this aspect of CREWC can contact Kaia at: programs@kaia.ca

Kaia will also be holding a Yoga Retreat later this summer. Click here for more.

Great garden news: We have struck gold with Julie Salter volunteering to oversee the organic garden that we have been nursing along. She and her partner Louis have made huge inroads in organizing, planting — they’ve even created a five year plan for its evolution. It is already looking magical. And a Big Thanks to Mike Nickerson for doing the same last year and for pruning our cherry tree back into production! Come to our next volunteer garden party:  Sat, June 18 from 9-12, plus lunch served afterward (and an Open House Talk on natural medicine for cancer after that). The forecast looks promising! Great company, joyful work either in the vegetable or flower gardens and delicious, healthy food. . . Please RSVP to carla@ecowellness.com, thanks.

The Avatar, our new testing and diagnostic device, is almost ready for patients. Cindy Fleming is almost up to speed on its use, plus the NDs will be using it in their practice in addition to muscle testing for more insight about the deeper causes of illness, including scars, geopathic stress and emotions, and at what level people can be detoxified.

Karen Secord’s free-lance contract with us ended last month, but she is still writing for our newsletter and doing work for the Learning Centre’s organic flower greenhouse.  You can contact her at: kswrites@rogers.com (and she’s looking to do house-sitting for the summer around the Ottawa area).

We need some help with a lovely but sick tree: Does anyone have an ash tree treatment one can do for cheap instead of cutting it down? Call the clinic at 613-839-1198.

The newly refurbished website is finally up! Check it out!
