Youth Net at The Carp Ridge EcoWellness Centre

Here at Carp Ridge in August, and in partnership with Youth Net “Rooted” program activities (a bilingual youth mental health promotion program at CHEO), we hosted their youth group for lunch and nature activities. Carp Ridge charity – Willow Community Circle was pleased to provide this outdoor opportunity for youth to become engaged in nature while they foraged, gardened, ate a nutritious meal, made smudge sticks with a brief meditation and crafted natural floral vine crowns. An inspiring group and time well spent immersed in natural elements, hope to see them again for another event in the great outdoors!
